Learning Objectives:

1. Assess the effect of neural tissue management on pain and disability in patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain
2. Summarize a systematic review on the effects of lower body quadrant neural mobilization in patients with and without low back pain
3. Ascertain the level of diagnostic accuracy for upper limb neurodynamic tests (ULNTs) compared to diagnostic imaging and/or electrophysiologic studies
4. Evaluate the mechanical behavior of the sciatic nerve and biceps femoris muscle in the proximal thigh during a straight leg raise with ankle dorsiflexion
5. Examine the ability of an extended SLR (ESLR) – which adds hip internal rotation or ankle dorsiflexion to the standard test – to detect radiating low back pain patients
